About Me

Stephanie Morgan leads the nursing team and brings more than thirty years of nursing experience to Harbor Health. She sees her role as a partner to support people in their health journey. She focuses on the physical, mental, and social health of clients, because where people work, live and play has a big impact on how they can execute their health goals. Stephanie creates a trusting environment, listens with empathy and coaches people while allowing them to be the experts of their own health. She is a family practice nurse and has special interest in working with adults age 65 and older.

Stephanie is a Clinical Professor at the University of Texas at Austin School of Nursing. Prior to that, she was Vice President of Clinical Services for a post-acute short stay inpatient rehabilitation business. She is always looking for ways to change healthcare for the better, even if that change is uncomfortable. Stephanie is a champion of team based practice for healthcare delivery. She is a faculty fellow in Interprofessional Practice and Education at UT and a Distinguished Fellow in the National Academy of Practice. She has been involved in leadership and health policy development with the Texas Nurses Association. In her personal health journey, Stephanie focuses on four health pillars: nutrition, sleep, exercise, and stress management.
